Thoughts on today's verse: Jesus said that the first and greatest commandment is to love God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength. Even before Jesus said that, we see in the Psalms encouragement to seek the Lord. God is always there just waiting for you to come to Him. He stands with open arms. Seek Him. He is strong and capable. He is beautiful and true. Seek Him every day for all of your days.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, Your name is holy, and You will reign forever. Let Your will be done in my life. You care for me and are always there for me. Thank You for sending Your son so that I can come into Your presence. I want to seek You for all of my days. I want to know You, and I want to love You more than I do now. Don't let me grow complacent in my relationship with You. Always let me seek Your face. You will never leave or forsake me, never allow me to leave You. In Jesus' name. Amen.

I am reminded of the lyrics from the song Amazing Grace. "I once was lost but now am found, was blind but now I see." The Lord is the light to the world, shining brightly in the darkness. Open your eyes and bask in His grace and glory.

Prayer:
Graceful Father, Your teachings is like a beacon that shines in the darkness. Before Jesus, we were blind, living as sinners, and even killing the Son of God. How could our vision have been so different from Yours? Thank you for giving us the chance to correct it. Thank you for listening to our pleas and thinking on our behalf. It is with Your amazing grace that we might live in heaven for all eternity. I love You, my Abba Father. Amen.

Young sunflowers do follow the sun, their yellow blossoms pivoting to track the golden star on its orbit from morning to night. Once the sun sets in the west the sunflower slowly turns its head back to the east during the night and waits for the sun to rise again. The technical term for this phenomena is heliotropism. In layperson terms it is known as amazing.

Why is the virus greater than I, says the Lord? Do I not say in My word that I am Alpha and Omega? The Beginning and the End.

Nothing is out of My control. Now you've made this virus so great you can't even experience My Glory.

Do I not say I am the unchangable, immovable. Do I not say, Nothing is impossible with me. Dead rose up in My presence. The blind saw, the deaf heard, the lame walked.

Have I ever changed? No, but you have changed. You no longer believe Me and My Word. I am in you and you in me (John 14) How could the virus be greater than I am? It's time you trusted me again, trusted My Word, taking up your Authority (John 14 12) and chasing back the enemy to where he came from. Thoughts on today's verse :
We all know what it means to "get our hopes up." Usually it is a precursor to being disappointed. When we are children we hope for a new puppy or a pony for Christmas. But in Christmas morning, no puppy or pony to be found. As adults, we "hope" for relationships, scholarships, jobs...but sometimes find ourselves disappointed when the relationship fails, the scholarship falls through, or the job goes to someone else. When we put our hope in earthly things, we are bound to be let down. But the hope we find in God will never disappoint. It is not bound by earthly perimeters, but is founded in the love of God which He has poured into our hearts. His Holy Spirit bears witness to this hope. Our hope lives eternally in our hearts through the loving Spirit of a loving God.

Please people, DO NOT INJECT into your body, something that is untested and so risky. Once it is in your cells, it is there to stay. Especially if you are health care or teacher or grandparent. We need you in 2 or 3 years time.
Please don't set yourself up to die.

5 Essential Beliefs for a Peaceful Heart
If you’re a Christian, God alone is in charge of your life. He’s your security. And He’s never been out of control over His creation for one fraction of a second since the beginning of time. He hasn’t lost one measure of His power or might. He’s just as omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent, and all loving today as He was at the dawn of man.
Though we may not always understand His purposes, understanding the ways of God always leads to an understanding that He’ll act in a way that brings about eternal blessings for His children. Through the years, I’ve discovered five essential beliefs for a peaceful heart. I challenge you to take a long, hard look at what you believe about God. Your peace is determined by the degree to which these truths are embedded in your soul.
Belief 1: God is absolutely sovereign.
Recognizing and accepting the truth that God is sovereign over everything is vital for your inner peace. This means that nothing related to you is beyond His watchful eye and loving care. (Col. 1:17)
Belief 2: God is your provider.
From cover to cover, the Bible has a clear message that God is the One who provides for all your needs. No need is too massive, problematic, or severe for Jesus to meet it. The Bible tells us, “Those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing” (Ps. 34:10).
Belief 3: God made you the way you are for a purpose.
There are many things about your life in which you have no control. Accept those things as part of the way God created you. Your race, culture, language, nationality, sex, and many attributes of your physical being are God’s “choices.” He also gave you talents, aptitudes, intelligence, personality, and spiritual gifts that, taken as a whole, make you a unique person on this earth to fulfill the plan He has for you. (Ps. 139:13-16)
Belief 4: God has a place where you truly belong.
God created you for fellowship with Himself and others. Trust Him to help you gain a strong sense of belonging to Him and to provide for you a “family” of fellow believers to whom you can belong. Then, as you grow in Him, reach out to others. (1 Pet. 2:9).
Belief 5: God has a plan for your fulfillment.
For real inner peace, a person needs to know that he or she is competent, able, capable, and skilled at doing something. There’s a wonderful sense of peace that comes when you know you’re capable of putting in a good performance or doing a good job. (Eph. 2:10)
When you accept these five essential beliefs at the core of your being and trust that God is working in you and on your behalf, inner peace will truly be yours.

Testimony of a former Soviet prisoner:
One time I was put in prison in Siberia. I was taken to a cell in the middle of the night. There were about 20 prisoners already there. None of them were sleeping, even though it was after midnight. They were all upset about something.
When the door was locked behind me, immediately they surrounded me and their first question was, "How many men did you kill?"
I said, "Well, I didn't kill anyone. I am a Christian."
They said, "You are lying. In this cell there are only murderers. Everyone here has killed at least three men. Some of us have killed four or five. So, prove you are a Christian. Let us see your Bible."

You can't have a Bible in a Soviet prison. It would be confiscated. But hidden away in my things I had a miniature Gospel of Mark that I used to read secretly. I showed it to the prisoners and immediately they said, "Let us read it." So I did.
The next morning I awoke late, and I found that none of the other prisoners had been sleeping. They were all sitting in a circle, and one was reading the Gospel of Mark aloud. They had gotten to the last chapter. They were having a kind of Bible study - trying to discuss what it all meant. Those men had never heard the gospel before, had never read a portion of God's Word. But when I awoke, their first questions showed me that they understood what the gospel meant.
Their first question was this, "Can God forgive us?" That meant that they understood the meaning of the gospel, what salvation is. I explained that yes, God can forgive you. Jesus Christ forgave the thief on the cross next to Him.
I spent a week in that cell, and we talked a lot about God, but then I was to be transported to another prison. They wanted me to give them my Gospel of Mark. I remember one of them said, "Your God will send you many more Bibles, many more New Testaments. We'll never have another portion of God's Word in this prison." That Gospel was very precious to me, but I gave it to those men. And it is still there with them.

Psalm 11 is exactly how I feel about the Covid fiasco. I've heard of friends and acquaintances who have family members that have alreaady been injected or who are going to get their injections. A dear friend asked me and I told her the dangers. She is no longer going for her killer-shot (don'tt call it a vaccine). Thoughts on today's verse :
Jesus spoke these words in the garden of Gethsemane. The time has come when He has to prepare Himself for what to come. He is the Son of God, but He is also the Son of Man. He understands the suffering which will be on Him in a matter of hours. His flesh struggles against it, but His will is stronger. Here He talks to His father in a heartfelt prayer. He prays for the strength to glorify His father, the strength to get through what is to come.
Prayer:
Jesus, I cannot imagine the loneliness You felt as You prepared Yourself for death. I know that, as God’s son, You were protected from eternal death, but You were not protected from pain. My heart breaks to know that You suffered like that for me and I am beyond grateful for Your sacrifice of love. Amen.

I AM the Risen One and only, who shines upon you always. You worship a living Deity, not some idolatrous, man-made image. It is easy to make an idol of routine, finding security within the boundaries you build around your life. Although each day contains twenty-four hours, every single one presents a unique set of circumstances. Don't try to force-fit today into yesterday's mould. In an unexpected vision it was possible for me to observe our entire planet earth from a distance as it was rolling around its axis.

A mighty arm appeared in the heavenlies. The finger was pointing towards the earth. As this occurrence was visible to the entire world, I sensed that this arm belonged to our beloved Abba Father.

What was super amazing, was the fact that the arm of our King was aflame from the shoulder downwards to the fingertips. The flames were like tongues of fire flaring from the fingertips and touching all the nations of the earth.

The scene was overwhelming and intense, and I could hardly breathe.
I just waited.
Then, a voice that roared like thunder filled the emptiness around me:

“Watch and see that the Lord is good.”

At the same time the glaring flames from His fingertips split up into hundreds of smaller flares and landed on the surface of the earth, igniting huge bonfires. Surprisingly, no vegetation caught fire and I realised that those fires were not real fires but holy fires.
I heard an answer to my unspoken understanding:

“You see correctly, Hephzibah. This will surely come to pass. Release what you perceive.”
“But what does it all mean, Abba Father?”
The same words as earlier were repeated:

“Watch and see that the Lord is good.”

May Abba help us to strengthen our trust in Him and that we should always appreciate His never-ending goodness.

When I paddled in the race on Saturday (12 June 2021), it was tough, with many tree obstacles to paddle around or under or over. Only a few rapids and large rocks to deal with. When I simply asked, "Help me, Lord" I managed some tricky stuff and completed the race in 5 hours 8 minutes.

Apologies for the month (mid-2021) when our network was down.
Part of Psalm 21 is missing.
